Banking

What is banking?

Cupping is one of the oldest methods of traditional Chinese medicine. It is applied by pressing cups against the patient’s skin due to the negative pressure created. The effects affect the entire body, improving blood circulation, purifying the blood, and restoring the functions of the nervous system.

How does banking work?

  1. The bank may or may not heat up.
  2. It is then sucked onto the skin using vacuum.
  3. It is the negative pressure that causes capillaries to burst and small blood spurts to form. The spurts may look like bruises, but they are deeper. The intensity of the negative pressure can be regulated.
  4. After cupping, it is necessary to maintain a sufficient drinking regimen for at least 2 days so that harmful substances are flushed out of the body as quickly as possible.

It is recommended to perform cupping 2 times/week in the first week and then 6 to 9 repetitions once/week.
