Physical, balneo and rehab examination by doctor
Examination includes professional health anamnesis with physical examination, specification of diagnosis and a physiotherapeutic program.
Examination by neurologist
Includes specific neurological examination. We are specialised at diagnostic methods, treatment of dysfunction of neurological system, specific treatment of spinal column, motoric system and muscular system.
Check up examination
Checking up after rehabilitation procedure and setting up following physiotherapeutic plan.
Consultation with physiotherapist
Includes personal health care anamnesis, physical examination and a physiotherapeutic plan. Further more, the physiotherapists will explain everything relating to diagnoses in order for patients to understand the necessary lifestyle adjustments relating to physiotherapy. We also advice on following available treatment.
Individual therapeutic movement therapy – ITMT
ITMT includes specific rehabilitation exercises adjusted to individuals according to dg. ITMT is practised 1 to 1 patient. Aim is recovery, maintenance of physiological movement, improvement of muscle conditions, increasing range of motions and progress of functional motoric adaptation of body.
Individual therapeutic lesson for children
During our individual therapeutic lessons for children we focuse mainly on the postural correction and the postural pattern of movement, also setting up rehabilitation plan for home excercises. It is aimed for children up to 15 years old.
Therapeutic lesson for small groups (max 3 people)
Lessons are guided by our qualified physiotherapist with the use of our fully equiped physio-room. Exercises focuse on relaxation of tense muscles, strengthening of weak muscle, stabilization of pelvis and joints, strenghtening of stat dynamic function for correct postural patterns. Further we practice the correct kinetic patterns of movement.
There are many benefits to be achieved through regular massage therapy treatments . It helps to relax, reduce muscle tension or attain relief from chronic pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall sense of emotional and physical well-being.
Lymphatic massage is physiologic method- treatment for the skin and deeper layer of the skin, which is the way to regeneration. It is helping to take away lymph from the tissues, without blood supply. Its detoxifies the body from waste products, increases oxygenation of the tissues, what has healing effect for the human body.
Soft Tissue Techniques
Soft tissue is the superficial, and to a lesser extent deeper tissues, within the human body – such as the skin, fascia, muscles, tendons, nerves, ligaments and joint capsule. Soft tissue techniques should not be painful.
Joint mobilization is a manual therapy intervention, a type of passive movement of a skeletal joint. It is mostly aimed at a ‘target’ synovial joint with the aim of achieving a therapeutic effect. When applied to the spine, it is known as spinal mobilization.
Curative yoga and Pilates
Jana has been practicing yoga for 8 years on regular basses and teaching about 4 years. She is qualified physiotherapist, Pilates teacher and yoga teacher, watsu practitioner. She has been studying, teaching and practicing yoga in different locations of the world, as London, Bali, India.
A piece of equipment commonly used is the interferential current machine. This machine produces electrical currents that pass through the affected area of the patient. The current tends to penetrate deeper than other electrical modalities and has a number of physiological effects that have therapeutic value.
It is alternating compression and rarefaction of sound waves with a frequency of 0.7 to 3.3 MHz. Maximum energy absorption in soft tissue occurs from 2 to 5 cm. Intensity decreases as the waves penetrate deeper.
TENS in physiotherapy
TENS, or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, is a category of electrical modalities that we use in physiotherapy to treat inflammation, pain, muscle spasms, weakness, and many other neuromuscular disorders. TENS works by sending your brain mixed signal.
Magnetic therapy is a safe, non-invasive method of applying magnetic fields to the body for therapeutic purposes. It accelerates the natural healing process and provides natural relief from pain and inflamation.
Thermotherapy is an application of heat or cold for the purpose of changing the cutaneous, intra-articular and core temperature of soft tissue with the intention of improving the symptoms of certain conditions.
Laser Therapy Works
Laser therapy uses light to penetrate through the skin into tissues. Although it only penetrates a few millimetres, it can have a profound effect on tissue healing. It has been shown to aid in pain relief, reduce inflammation, increase blood flow, stimulate wound healing, stimulate tissue regeneration, and reduce scarring.
The Kinesio Taping Method is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.
It applies by vacuum cupping on to the skin of patient because of the vacuum which is made. We can use it with patients suffering by backpain, pain of the muscles, inflamation of the joints and headache.
